A Look Back at Pet Portraits at the Park
From pet portraits to coffee, treats, and Halloween fun, take a look at the moments that made our Third Annual Pet Portraits at the Park special.
Three years in, Pet Portraits at the Park has become one of our favorite mornings of the year. On Saturday, October 18, 2026, Peraza Real Estate hosted our Third Annual Pet Portraits at the Park at Memorial Park in Chula Vista, and our community showed up with leashes, carriers, costumes, and plenty of tail wags.
From 9 AM to 12 PM, Memorial Park at 373 Park Way turned into a morning built around the family members who never get enough credit: our pets. Dogs, cats, kids, grandparents, and neighbors came out for professional pet portraits, coffee, treats, and a whole lot of Halloween spirit.
A Morning at Memorial Park
The morning started the right way: with coffee. We brought in a full coffee cart with a barista pulling drinks for everyone who stopped by, plus pastries and fresh donuts for the humans. The pets weren't left out. We had treats on hand all morning, and goodie bags went home with guests while supplies lasted.
The heart of the event was our professional Pet Portrait Station. One by one, families brought their pets up for a portrait session, and every pet had its own personality on full display. Some sat perfectly still like they'd been practicing all week. Others needed a treat, a squeaky toy, and a little patience before they gave us the shot.
We met so many familiar faces and plenty of new ones. Charlotte, Gemma, and Sebastian all stepped in front of the camera, along with Rocky, Kira, Toby, and Charlie. Buster and Max brought big energy, Paloma and Coco brought the charm, and Piper, Storm, Poppy, and Wilbur rounded out a lineup we won't forget anytime soon.
Halloween Spirit Everywhere
With the event landing just a couple of weeks before Halloween, costumes were everywhere. Pets showed up dressed up, kids showed up dressed up, and a few owners got in on it too. It made for some of the best portraits we've captured in three years.
The event was open to dogs, cats, families, and anyone who wanted to bring their whole crew. That's exactly what people did. Some families came with one pet, some came with three, and some came just to hang out, grab a coffee, and see what the fun was about.
Why We Keep Doing This

Pet Portraits at the Park is our way of saying thank you.
