Usually about 1%. But you only pay for the part of the year you owned the home. 💡 If you bought in October, you’d pay for 9 months out of the year, not the full 12. Sometimes, you might even get two bills depending on your closing date, one for this year and one for the next. The good news? It’s all prorated and you’re not covering the previous owner’s taxes.
